Life has been incredibly busy, yet wonderful and inspiring lately. In a blink of an eye, weeks have gone by and I haven’t made one single post to this space.
There are moments I intentionally step away from posting, mainly feeling like its such a time suck, taking away time spent with my family. But these past few weeks, all my time has been filled embarking on an exciting, new adventure; launching my own business.
All my time and effort has been put into studying for my Pre & Postnatal Fitness and Nutrition certificate. As most of you who read this blog know, health and fitness are a big part of who I am. It’s something I’m very passionate about, and I’m thrilled that my passion can be used to help other women feel healthier and more confident about themselves.
More information will be up on the blog soon, but for now I just wanted to let you all know what has been keeping me away lately. I’m beyond excited to share this information and get started on a new, healthful adventure!
A magical evening at the beach; the tide was amazingly low, the sky, a breathtaking mixture of pinks and oranges, and I was accompanied by my favorite people.
These past few weeks have been amazing, with the weather being so beautiful, we have enjoyed so much of the outdoors and our breathtaking city. Now that Berlin is walking, it feels like we are experiencing the city for the first time. Everything has a new level of excitement, and the most simple activities are awe-inspiring adventures. There are so many places to explore and so much beauty to be seen in this city and beyond, and I look forward to introducing Berlin to every inch of it.
Its finally summer time in San Francisco! We hit over 80 degrees in the city this weekend-which is a big deal around here! I finally get to bust out all my summer dresses, beyond excited!
As you can see, Berlin and I enjoyed a mellow weekend; did some shopping, played in the backyard and had a little park time with friends.
On the contrary, this is Ryan enjoying his weekend (DJ’ing in Portland). Not sure who had more fun, but I can tell you I’m a wee bit jealous. A mother’s job never ends…
Yes that is my husband with his hands in the air, he knows how to have a good time! Love him.
This week we had the rare pleasure of spending a Monday as a family. Most of the day Ryan and I were catching up on work, but fortunately we were able to sneak outside for a late lunch at the Soma Streat Food Park. The weather was perfect and luckily for us we got there after the lunch rush and basically had the place to ourselves. I enjoyed a delicious veggie burger on homemade sourdough bread (sorry, devoured it before we could take a shot) and Ryan had a scrumptious crepe. Berlin had her first bites of bread. She pretty much loves everything she puts in her mouth, so hard to say if she loved it anymore than say, the leaf she had her mouth moments prior to that. All in all we had a great day. I only wish we had more Monday’s together!
Although the Mission Blue Bottle Cafe has been open for several months and a mere five blocks from our home, this was our first outing to the new location. The interior is modern, drenched with sunshine and attached to the Heath Ceramics factory (which I’ll definitely be visiting again soon).
I’m just going to put it out there, attempting a photo shoot with an eight month old is not easy task. After several attempts and location changes I was able to get one shot of Berlin with Far seconds before the tears came. Even a good old cookie bribe wasn’t doing the trick.
Coffee, Cookies and Milk?
