These past few weeks have been amazing, with the weather being so beautiful, we have enjoyed so much of the outdoors and our breathtaking city. Now that Berlin is walking, it feels like we are experiencing the city for the first time. Everything has a new level of excitement, and the most simple activities are awe-inspiring adventures. There are so many places to explore and so much beauty to be seen in this city and beyond, and I look forward to introducing Berlin to every inch of it.

We took  a stab at some homemade finger painting this weekend. Making the paint was a success, but not so much the finger painting itself. Berlin, naturally just wanted to eat the paint and pour it on the new patio rather than the paper. I think she had more fun with the cleanup, as you can tell from her expression above. Perhaps we will give it a try again in another few months or so.

For those who want to give it a try the recipe is easy enough. Just grab a few different colors of the unsweetened Kool-Aid.  Mix one packet of Kool-Aid with a dash of salt and 1/2 cup of flour.  Slowly pour in 1 1/2 cups of boiling water into the dry mixture.  Adjust with more flour as necessary.

On another note I’ve recently become listed on Top Baby Blogs and would love your vote.  Voting is simple, just click on the link below and then vote by clicking on the owl.  Vote as often as once a day.  Votes were reset recently so this is a big opportunity for new blogs to get noticed.  Would love your support!
